We find that the items below are useful to us in our daily lives. as shown below: • Moral values are learnt through Olympism, such as friendship, honesty, discipline and fair play. • The Olympic spirit is not a competition or a system, but an attitude and will to perform to the best of one’s ability. • It involves those moral principles that promote human understanding. OLYMPISM means: • To engage us in deliberate, formal education activities relative to Olympism. • To instill the positive values of fair play, camaraderie, discipline and co-operation. • To engage us in physical education such that it becomes integral to their personal development. • To develop the widest possible range of skills of the members. |
